3D Printed Serial LCD
A while back one of my projects was a serial LCD, this project is to make an enclosure for the display. Unlike the rest of my projects for this one I had to use AutoCAD which is my least favourite design software.
The first step was to make some measurements of the display and then add a little room for tolerances. After some time I came up with the following design, one of the holes in the side is for the wires to protrude from. The rest of the four holes facing each other are for the backing plate to clip into place.
The backing plate with the lugs.
The final 3D printed result in ABS.
The front of the case.
Inside of the case.
Both of the parts.
The final result assembled and painted.
